Everything tastes great dipped in dark Chocolate. I am not a huge dessert person. They are usually fussy, frustrating, not too healthy little (or big) things to make. I would much rather spend my time on creating amazing, healthy nibbles than fuss with dessert. But people do like a little something their brain can register as dessert. Chocolate Covered Physalis and Strawberries are the perfect addition to a Spring Buffet. Pretty, simple, sweet and beautiful. They are fast and easy to make and look elegant. Using the Physalis husks to nestle the little nuggets of chocolate covered goodness gives them a bit of mystery as they are not a common fruit. They are packed with antioxidants and are a bit tart so offset the sweetness of the chocolate perfectly. Toss in some chocolate dipped strawberries and you have a beautiful, easy dessert plate.
